Bill Drakeley, Principal and Founder, is a third-generation pool builder and a leader in the North American concrete construction industry. Bill is the first and only pool builder to sit as a Voting Member on the American Concrete Institute (ACI) Committee 506 Shotcrete. He is also Chairman of the ACI Pool Shotcrete Subcommittee and a former president of the American Shotcrete Association.
Advocating for high industry standards through education and training, Bill’s technical writings have been widely published. Along with colleague David Peterson, P.E., he developed and launched Watershape University to provide live instruction and technical education to professionals throughout the watershape industry.
Bill holds a Swimming Pool Builder (SPB) license, a Home Improvement Contractor (HIC) license, and a Plumbing & Piping Limited Contractor (SP-1) license. He is also a member of the International Watershape Institute (IWI).
Bill is also the managing member of Drakeley Industries, an international consulting firm specializing in shotcrete applications. His work has included training for major infrastructure projects such as New York City Metropolitan Transportation Authority underground subway tunneling projects, the Washington, D.C. First Street Tunnel project, and the Hudson River Water Tunnel project.

Billy Drakeley III, CFA, CEO, Member, oversees operations across all company departments and plays an integral role in sales, engineering, and overall business strategy. Billy has been involved with the firm since his teenage years and rejoined the company full time in 2018 following four years as an Investment Analyst at FCI Advisors. A CFA charterholder, Billy holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in finance from Bentley University.

Kerri Schivera, Office Manager, joined the firm in 2016. With two decades of experience in executive administration and operations, she provides organizational support across the firm’s construction and service divisions, ensuring the details of each project are handled with care. Kerri also oversees educational development in conjunction with Watershape University and coordinates all administrative functions for Drakeley Industries, the firm’s consulting division. Kerri holds a bachelor’s degree from Quinnipiac University and a master’s degree from West Virginia University.

Rick Schivera, Construction Superintendent, started with the firm’s service department in 2008. Shortly after, he transitioned to the firm’s construction department where he now helps manage our current construction projects. He is responsible for managing onsite crews, communicating with clients on job sites, and ensuring the firm’s office staff has the information they need to effectively coordinate our projects. He is an American Concrete Institute (ACI) certified nozzleman and the company’s lead nozzleman. Rick holds a CT State Swimming Pool Builder (SPB) license, a CDL, and is OSHA 10 certified. He is also a Certified Pool & Spa Building Professional (CBP) and a Watershape University Certified Watershape Foreman.

Allison Cope, P.E., Design Engineer, oversees construction plan development for Drakeley Pool Company’s residential and commercial projects, as well as projects for the consulting firm Drakeley Industries. Since joining the company in 2022, Allison has brought extensive design and drafting experience in architectural construction. She holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Louisville and is a licensed Professional Engineer. Allison is also a member of the International Watershape Institute (IWI).

Lisa Dayton, Bookkeeper, maintains all financial records for both Drakeley Pool Company and the consulting firm Drakeley Industries. She joined the firm in 2009 and holds a degree in accounting from Post University.

Rebecca Hretz, Inventory Coordinator, joined the firm in 2018. Rebecca led our service department for eight years before recently transitioning into a new role overseeing the company’s inventory and purchasing operations. Ken Lippert, Operations Coordinator, joined the firm in 2026. With more than a decade of experience in service operations, dispatch, and procurement, Ken oversees daily scheduling and dispatch for the firm’s service division while supporting operational systems and workflow across the company. His background includes extensive experience in field service coordination, purchasing, inventory management, customer service, and process improvement.

Thomas Abramovich, Laborer, began working for the firm in 2026. He assists on of our forming, steel, and shotcrete crew.
Michael Almonacid, Plumbing Assistant, joined the company in 2026. As a member of the firm’s construction team, he assists with plumbing and equipment installations for both residential and commercial projects.
Daniel Berezueta, Laborer, began working for the firm in 2022 as a member of our forming, steel, and shotcrete crew. Daniel is also the crew chief of one of our masonry crews.
Segundo Berezueta, Crew Chief, joined the firm’s construction department in 2020. He is a member of our excavation, forming, steel, and shotcrete crew and is also a talented mason. Segundo is OSHA 10 certified.
Al Geraldi, Laborer, serves as an assistant to our forming and steel crew. He also assists our service department with pool openings and closings. Al joined the firm in 2023.
Tanner Greenlaw, Crew Chief, began working for the firm in 2023. He specializes in plumbing and equipment installations for residential and commercial projects and now leads his own crew in the field. Tanner also works as a member of our forming and steel crew. He is OSHA 10 certified and holds a Certified Maintenance Specialist (CMS) certification.
George Hungerford, Crew Chief, is a heavy equipment operator in our construction and renovation department, assisting on both residential and commercial projects. George joined the firm in 2015. He holds a CDL and is OSHA 10 certified.
Jake Hungerford is a Laborer in our construction department, serving on our excavation, forming, and steel crew. He also offers assistance to our heavy equipment operator on new construction and renovation projects. Jake is OSHA 10 certified and has been with the firm since 2020.
John Illes, Sr., Mason, is also a vital member of our shotcrete and steel crew. He joined the firm as a subcontractor in 2000 and has worked on a variety of different masonry projects. John is OSHA 10 certified.
Owen Kane is a Laborer in our construction and renovation department. He serves on our forming, steel, plumbing, and shotcrete crew. Owen is OSHA 10 certified and has been with the firm since 2024.
Danny Pindo, Laborer, serves as an assistant to our forming, steel, and shotcrete crew. He joined the firm in 2021 and is OSHA 10 certified.
Joffre Pindo is a Laborer in our construction department, serving on our forming, steel, and shotcrete crew. He joined the firm in 2024 and is OSHA 10 certified.
Gerry Ruiz, Laborer, joined Drakeley Pool Company in 2026. As a member of the firm’s plumbing team, he assists with plumbing and equipment installations for both residential and commercial projects.
Brian Woodward, Master Technician, is the firm's lead plumber. He oversees the installation of all filtration systems, both residential and commercial. He has been with the company since 2000. Brian holds his SP-2 Spa and Pool Journeyman license, is an Advanced Service Technician (AST), Certified Pool/Spa Operator (CPO), and is OSHA 10 certified.

Dylan Cremin, Junior Technician, joined the firm in 2025. As a member of the service team, he assists with the maintenance of residential pool systems. In addition to his work in the field, he is gaining hands-on experience in finance and business operations through an internship with the firm’s executive team. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Bryant University.
Luke Gibbons, Junior Technician, has been with the firm since 2026. He provides weekly maintenance for our service clients’ pools and serves on one of our opening and closing crews.
John Illes Jr., Senior Technician, is a Certified Maintenance Specialist (CMS), a National Plasterers Council (NPC) Start Up Technician, and is OSHA 10 certified. He joined the firm in 2016 and currently serves as crew chief for one of our opening and closing crews. John is well-versed in filter equipment troubleshooting and repair, and also provides assistance to our company’s lead mason when needed.
Tim Nalette, Junior Technician, joined the firm in 2025. He provides weekly service for our service division and assists on one of our opening and closing crews.
Jamie Pieger, Senior Technician, has been with the firm since 2006. Jamie's involvement with our service and maintenance division ensures that each of our clients receive a personal level of care. He also assists our construction crew as concrete pump operator. Jamie's credentials include Advanced Service Technician (AST), Certified Maintenance Specialist (CMS), National Plasterers Council (NPC) Start Up Technician, and OSHA 10. He is a graduate of Southern Connecticut State University.
Rob Rende, Junior Technician, joined the firm in 2025. He provides weekly maintenance for our service clients’ pools and serves on one of our opening and closing crews.
Austin Scarpone, Senior Technician, is a crew chief for one of our opening and closing crews. He also provides weekly maintenance for our service clients’ pools. Austin joined the firm in 2024 and holds a Certified Maintenance Specialist (CMS) certification.
David Schnatz, Junior Technician, joined the firm in 2026 as a seasonal member of the service team. During his summer breaks from high school, David assists with weekly maintenance for the firm’s residential service clients, gaining hands-on experience in pool care, water chemistry, and equipment operation.
Brian Stewart, Senior Technician, has been with the firm since 2009. Brian's credentials include Advanced Service Technician (AST), Certified Pool/Spa Operator (CPO), Certified Maintenance Specialist (CMS), and OSHA 10. Brian is also a certified National Plasterers Council (NPC) Start Up Technician. Brian is an automation expert and provides installation, troubleshooting, and training services for all clients with automation systems installed on their pools. Brian holds a mathematics degree from University of Connecticut.
Liam Stewart serves an Apprentice in our service department, offering assistance to our senior technicians. Liam serves on one of our opening and closing crews and has been with the firm since 2025.
